Welcome to Muddy Creek Raceway, host of some of the most exciting racing in the Southeast.

Muddy Creek Raceway (MCR) is located in Northeast Tennessee (450 Ridgeway Rd Blountville, TN), about 9 miles from NASCAR’s Bristol Motor Speedway. The track was opened back in the mid 70s by landowner Paul Baskett and his sons Jim and Lynn. The track has been featured in Motocross Action Magazine, Dirt Bike Magazine, and SPORTS ILLUSTRATED in 2003 named the Top Gun Showdown as “Tennessee’s Sporting Event of the Year”.

MCR has hosted AMA Area Qualifiers and Regional Qualifiers. ATV Motocross Nationals, and 2013 thru 2018 hosted the AMA LUCAS Oil PRO Motocross Nationals.

MCR hosts motocross races March through October. The track is the home base to the THOR United States Mega Series. The AMA Tennessee State Championship, the Top Gun Showdown, the Cody Gragg Memorial 2 Stroke Race, and the AHRMA Vintage MX National are annual events.

The track is not open except for race weekends (2022 schedule listed below). Friday or Saturday before a race, the track is open for Open Riding.

Overnight parking is available at all events. Concessions are always available as well as venders with various motorsports products.
